3100-mile runner Stutisheel Oleg Lebedev speaks about the challenges and experiences of competing in the Sri Chinmoy Self-Transcendence 3100 Mile Race. Stutisheel shares some of the mental and spiritual attitudes necessary to complete this epic feat of physical endurance.
Stutisheel also talks about his first participation in the Zurich Lake Marathon Swim 2017, as well as on the importance of meditation and nutrition. This is the 40th edition of LIFE Voices series.

On 24 March 1984, Sri Chinmoy offered his first major Peace Concert in the Kölner Sporthalle in Cologne, Germany. 8000 seekers attended and it was the start of a worldwide series of Peace Concerts. This is an original VHS recording and the video quality is not perfect, but it gives a small impression of these Peace Concerts. Read more »

On 19 September 2007, 22 days before his passing on 11 October 2007, Sri Chinmoy gave his last public peace concert in St. Petersburg in Russia – a unique historical recording. Sri Chinmoy began with silent meditation and finished with a powerful synthesizer improvisation at the end. Read more »

Sri Chinmoy was officially invited to hold the opening meditation at the Parliament of the World’s Religions in Chicago on August 28, 1993. This event was held to mark the centenary of the original World Parliament of Religions in Chicago in 1893.
